CTRL+K (break apart) should work on multiple selected objects at once
Right now it only works on one object at a time, there is no reason why it couldn't work on multiple objects selected at once. It would be a great convenience when you need to break apart several objects without losing their previously defined names.
It would be helpful if a new "preview" view-mode were available under the View menu, in which paragraph text frames, grid, guides, and other non-printing items were suppressed. All of these things can be hidden in other ways, but it would be nice ...
