It would be handy if Corel Draw calculated the area of an object similar in the way it can calculate the length of a curve under Object Properties

Right now it only works on one object at a time, there is no reason why it couldn't work on multiple objects selected at once. It would be a great convenience when you need to break apart several objects without losing their previously defined names.

Often complex vector created in other programs do not import correctly or at all. Higher volume shapes or nodes ALWAYS crash corel and you have to jump through hoops and create work arounds to get it to work.
