Draw a curve through the middle of an outline

When a curve is converted to an outline having the ability to convert the outline back to a curve would be useful. Having to trace a curve down the middle of the outline takes a lot of time.
I often get drawings from others which the curves have been converted to an outline that I need to work on.

    easy peasy not so easy.

    Break your outline.

You may have a bit of work if the contour runs into trouble spots ( extra goodies around )

On a separate layer copy/paste the objects to work (so you dont lose original)

Break Apart the areas to work on. Select the 2 segments to find center.

Make sure curve direction is the same

    Goto Blend > change 20 to 1

    Select your lines and apply

Reducing nodes helps alot, so do that.

Alot to explain but it does work - Experiment!

Works w/ Text too - just bare with it, it tries its best for center
