Continous Duplicate-Edit Text

As you left Click dragging then right clicking once switches to duplicate object mode. My Idea is to store this data especially for text to easily tagging things. Example: You put an artistic text, click-drag-duplicate, then while not clicked anywhere you press text shortcut again to edit text. just after that hitting duplicate (Ctrl +D) remembers previous duplicate features. until now it doesn't. could be useful.
