It's sometimes cumbersome to have to completely change over to PhotoPaint to crop a bitmap picture. Would be great if basic manipulation like crop could be handled with a single click in the respective vector drawing tool.
Thanks for your suggestion. CorelDRAW and Corel DESIGNER do provide a Crop tool today - you can access it from the toolbox:
With a bitmap object selected, the "Crop bitmap" tool will also be displayed in the Properties bar above the drawing window (alongside Tracing and "Edit bitmap" options).
Additional basic bitmap editing/adjustment tools can be found in CorelDRAW / Corel DESIGNER in the Bitmaps menu, and in the Properties docker when a bitmap image object is selected.
The fx tab in the Properties docker provides options to apply adjustments and effects non-destructively to a bitmap object in a document in CorelDRAW / Corel DESIGNER.
For advanced bitmap editing, you can launch Corel PHOTO-PAINT from inside CorelDRAW / Corel DESIGNER through the "Edit Bitmap" command in the Properties bar (or the Bitmaps menu) when you have a bitmap object selected.
