In previous versions you used to be able to make basic Bitmap Adjustments in CorelDraw without going into PHOTO-PAINT. It is a pain to wait for PAINT to open just to do a minor adjustment. Please can you add that feature back? You can keep the feature to open PAINT for when you want more advance editing with a button.
Bitmap Adjustments in CorelDRAW have become much more powerful, as it can now be applied non-destructively, i.e., you can make changes or revert to the original (by turning off the adjustments, or removing it) later on.
In CorelDRAW, with a bitmap image object selected, go to the Properties docker/inspector, and select the fx tab. With the + button you can access the bitmap effects and adjustments menu to add from the list, with all the settings available to you for making the desired adjustments - without permanently changing the bitmap object (i.e., you don't destroy the original):
