I am a scientist, and use CorelDRAW Graphics Suite to put together figures and illustrations for publications, for which it is very well-suited. Many analytical programs used in research are written in Java to make them cross platform, and several programs, such as the flow cytometry program FlowJo use a Java graphics library called FreeHEP.
The vector graphics output by this Java library, SVG and PDF, cause errors in CDGS, even version 2024. The PDF files cannot be opened or imported, giving an error dialog that the file is corrupted. Opening or importing the SVG files actually makes CDGS crash. These files can be opened without difficulty by the graphics renderers in MS Windows, macOS, iOS, Serif Affinity Designer 2, Foxit Reader, Adobe Acrobat, and others. I think Corel should investigate this incompatibility and fix it.
