In previous versions (I'm currently using CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8), images could quickly be adjusted by making use of the different dialog boxes and their keyboard shortcuts.
Now, with the advent of the Adjustment docker panel, I'm not able to quickly change settings anymore as for each single setting I'm always forced to …
grab the mouse
find the current mouse pointer position
move the mouse pointer to the Adjustment docker scroll bar
scroll to the appropriate position in the the Adjustment docker panel
expand the corresponding sub panel in the the Adjustment docker panel
either change settings or right-click a context menu and select a context menu item
move the mouse back to the canvas where I was working
This is very cumbersome, requires worthless additional effort on my behalf and is bringing a significant penalty to my daily workflow.
So, I'm now forced to stick with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X8 because the new versions' design significantly impedes my daily work.
The new design may look fancy, but I'm considering Corel PHOTO-PAINT rather being a toolbox for daily work than being a show-off.
Add a thoughtful and comprehensive set of keyboard shortcuts to the Adjustment docker panel and all its sub panels for handling each and every setting quickly.
Add numerical input boxes to each of the settings, so they can gain focus and be edited using the numerical keyboard and UP/DOWN arrow keys.
