Contour is an essential part of signmaking...(vector cutting)... Why has it been removed from Corel Draw Standard ???? Is it just to force customers to buy the FULL version by leaving out ESSENTIAL function ?
CorelDRAW® Standard has everything you need to produce compelling graphics for home projects or your small business - this is how CorelDRAW Standard is positioned on www.coreldraw.com/standard.
For signmaking and other workflows for graphics professionals, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite is the right product with all the tools needed to create the professional output your graphics business needs to produce.
Corel draw standard does not have every thing needed to create.
The contour tool is missing. Anyone doing standard work will need this tool. One does not need to be a professional to need the contour tool. Forcing users to spend hours in frustration trying to resolve why the contour tool is missing does nothing to advance the image of Corel being a well developed system. Removing it without informing users sets them up for a fail. No where does any help data base explain the contour tool is missing for Standard.
Admin's response is the stupidest thing I've ever read. For my small business I use this function everyday. Sorry Corel, bu you are common thieves :( - this is information that should be written in capital letters in the software information.
Absolutely ridiculous decision. Trialing Standard 2024 & had CorelDraw Standard 2021 until I updated my computer recently & it had the contour function. Definitely reconsidering choosing Corel in the future as a result. Poor form indeed.
