PSD and Smartobjects support | Photo-Paint

Hello, a bit of background first!

Well the ideas here comes from my recent experience on designing a street pole banner for a client.
Like many here or in the Corel/Alludo organization knows, most; if not all mockups available on the internet, for sell/free are made with PS and by PS users and those lays good foundations for creative to show their works to clients before any further production steps.

but it happens that I had problem with smartobjects in PSD files not correctly handled by Coreldraw, I tried with PaintShop Pro and it was even worst but my surprise came right when I did the same test with Photo-Paint, the PSD openned and rendered better than all apps I used before only left the smartobject problem, but I managed to work things out with masking etc. it was a bit long but it worked (result in attachment)

So I believe Photo-Paint is the place for that smartobject support to happen in full, I could work it out with Affinity Photo but even though it support smartobject this time the file was rendering the worst ever, where Photo-Paint won it all

Can we expect to have decent smartobject support anytime soon?
