I cannot edit images directly in PhotoPaint in CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2023. It worked great in the X7 version. Now it doesn't work and it's a serious error! You are crazy to limit this!
"Edit Bitmap" in CorelDRAW should work (to launch Corel PHOTO-PAINT with the selected bitmap image for editing the image as inserted in the CorelDRAW design file) in all versions.
What has changed is that the double-click action on a bitmap image in CorelDRAW is no longer on by default. You can activate that in Tools > Options... > CorelDRAW in the "Edit" section as you can see in the screenshot.
Is this what you are referring to as "doesn't work" in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023?
If you mentioned about "Edit Bitmap" command does not work then you may encountered association problem. Try to repair install or re-install all of the package.
