Save PDF with lower size..

Recently, we attempted to generate over 300 certificates using Corel Print Merge and exported them as PDFs for printing. However, the resulting file size was exceptionally large, around 3.67 GB. In contrast, when I use Adobe InDesign for the same task, the file size is only 45 MB. Is there a way to reduce the size of the Corel-generated PDFs?

You can change your pdf export settings. before publishing as a PDF.

The pdf sizes in CorelDRAW have reached a ridiculous state. I took a very small pdf I'd made in Word into CorelDRAW (so I could save as outlines to stop it being edited) and resaved it as a pdf and it went from 156kb up to 5.5MB. I thought the whole point of using pdfs was to decrease the file size, but the pdfs created in CorelDRAW are enormous and you have to lower the resolution in any sort of attempt to make the sizes manageable, meaning the quality of the pdf output is also very poor. I've been working in CorelDRAW for 20 years now, so I know they never used to be so large. This really needs to be reviewed.
