With 2024 there is now a 15-day trial version that is completely web based. You can actually open a CDR file and downsave it to a previous version! Wahoo! If 2020 is my favorite version and someone sends me a newer file I can now downsave it myself without having to wait for them to downsave and without having to install another CorelDRAW version! So, every time I need to do it, I sign up for a new 15-day trial, because now I can sign in using Facebook, Google, or my e-mail. Instead of the trial being abused simply for downsaving, why not create a tool specifically for downsaving? Go one step further, and take the File Converter Macro and make it an actual CorelDRAW tool, so we could even downsave thousands of files! I'd pay for that! No, I wouldn't pay $269 a year for it, nor $549 perpetually for it, but I might spend 50 cents every time I needed it, or $5 bucks, or something.....
