a grid tool

Designers use grids to do everything. there is no easy way to do this in any program even adobe. The graph paper tool doesn't allow for gutters nor can it create column or modular or hierarchical or axial or diagonal or radial grids. a tool or plug in to do this would be really great. and easy to do I think. would be a real addition especially for pro's.
