I agree with Klaus; many times I am using CorelDraw to create linework and then exporting this file as a .dxf or .svg to import into a 3D program. Naming objects is something that helps organize this process. Currently going through and clicking on object and then double clicking on name is time consuming.
Maybe a dialog box that pops up like other programs or like shift clicking on the color palette offers a pop-up and at that point you could rename. Or under the right click menu on object, or the ability to add a shortcut to Rename which is not currently possible. Anything would be more helpful then the current solution. Thanks

Are you asking for a keyboard shortcut to use for renaming a selected object (shape, group) in the Objects docker?
