When an object is selected in the OBJECTS Docker then the cursor is moved to the drawing area to nudge the object using the ARROW KEYS the object is not nudged! Rather the selection in the OBJECT Docker jumps from object to object!
This is very frustrating to say the least as the selected object to be nudged needs to be clicked on twice to select it again so the arrow keys can function to nudge.
I think this is a feature not a bug. When you click on something in the Objects docker the docker is "active" or focused meaning that the arrows and a few other keys work in the docker, like navigating and selection objects in the docker. To nudge the item on the drawing area the drawing area needs to be focused. I usually click the Pick Tool which activates the drawing area but as @Maciej pointed out, just pressing the SPACEBAR (which toggles between the Pick Tool and the last used tool) also activates the drawing area. I'm going to start doing that.
there's an easy fix for that. after choosing object from objects docker press SPACEBAR and then use arrow keys to nudge object.
