Vector Segment Delete Tool 2.0

Have the ability on a single object to delete a SEGMENT line and retain the rest. Resulting in an open object. i.e., Box has 3 sides, VSD tool on one side leaves 3 remaining, not the entire object deleted. Unless theres a way, please tell & disregard

If these are curves, then this already possible using the Shape Tool. Just select a segment, hit the delete key on the keyboard and voila you are done!

Nope ... that was kinda cool to do.

Holding the Shift produces an unknown feature that I dont get.

Corel should add Holding CTRL or ALT or SHIFT to delete between the nodes

    Otherwise, yea.

Draw two identical boxes on top of one another (Or duplicate an existing box) then use the VSD to swipe the wall you want to lose. You can then delete the top box (the duplicate) and the bottom will be a three-sided open box. You can then save that shape to the CONNECT Content box to use again if you need it.

I do this quite often. It is a pain with the extra steps, and I agree I wish it was easier.
