We are doing barcodes more than 1000 to 1500 barcodes for carton stickers daily. In the print merge option we can do variable data from excel file. But barcodes the barcode numbers are changed but the barcode lines are not produced by corel. We need to give input by single single barcodes in coreldraw. This is a heavy headache for me while using 1000-1500 barcodes daily. We are doing in the 3rd party software to create these barcodes and inserted in coreldraw. But we have spend more for coreldraw software renewal (6 user) year on year. But this simple feature is not updated in coreldraw yet. Please note that barcode is used world-wide mostly for packaging. Expecting this feature in the next version.
can we get an update on this please!
THIS! The bar-code creator in CD currently creates a static barcode. I'd like to make it as dynamic as possible. Right now, every one of the 2300 label specification drawings I have has to have a note "Barcode shown for placement only, do not scan". Then I have to recreate the whole label in NiceLabel or Bartender for them to actually print, inviting the opportunity for inconsistency that get's us dinged on audits. It's very time consuming.
