Having used and taught CorelDraw in Windows for at least twenty years, I am now wanting to use it on Macs. But I'm appalled to find that the Mac version does not have the same features as the Windows Version.
For example, a feature that I use daily in the Windows version is Fit Objects to Path.
This feature is non- existant in the Mac version. Fit text to path is there, but Fot Objects to Path is not.
No doubt there are other missing features in the Mac version that I haven't yet come across.
I've been regulalry downloading the Mac trial version to check on it's status, but nothing seems to change from one update to the next, despite that the Mac version has been available for a couple of years now.
And yet the subscription price is the same for both versions. Obviously I'm not going to pay full price for a 'cut down' CorelDraw, so I'm forced to run Windows in a VM on Mac in order to continue using CorelDraw.
I will add that I'm using a paid for CorelDraw Suite in Windows.
If the Mac version ever becomes fully useable, I may consider going for a subscription.
Come on Corel, get this sorted please!
