Unlimited scale in work area

I would prefer to have the scale limitations removed. When working in architectural designs, I find it extremely limiting when I cannot scale to size because CD limits the maximum size for objects on the work area. I don't understand what scale has to do with working file size limitations? If there is a printable area issue, simply make a warning when exporting or printing, but don't limit the scalable size of the work area.
