WebP format provides both lossless and lossy compression for working with images on the web. It´s becoming an standard graphic file format for digital design and website design, so it´s very important to add full support for the WebP file format in Photo-Paint and CorelDRAW in order to open, create edit and save WebP files in Photo-Paint and CorelDRAW.
This is fantastic news! Thank you!
This is great news for designers specializing in digital design, thanks for implementing it so quickly! The CorelDRAW team is the best! ;-)

Check out the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite September 2022 Update, or the CorelDRAW Technical Suite September 2022 Update - WebP file import and export support has been added to both CorelDRAW Graphics Suite and CorelDRAW Technical Suite with that latest subscriber update.
You can now open WebP files in Corel PHOTO-PAINT, import WebP files in CorelDRAW and Corel DESIGNER, and export to WebP from any of the applications.
The new features and enhancements of the September 2022 Update, as well as quality improvements in that Update are described in the Release Notes of the Update.
Both Draw and PP should be able to open, edit and save WebP files
I second this motion
But CorelDRAW and PP should not only open WebP files, also they should create WebP files.
Excellent suggestion! CorelDRAW and PHOTO-PAINT need to be up date with this feature.
