Irrespective of the View setting, render the parts of objects which fall outside the page area in wireframe or with a transparency setting. Keep them editable though. Makes it easier to visualise the cropped design without using the cropping tool repeatedly.
I've mocked this up using the Lens effect but wireframe would be better.
good idea! in affinity designer you can select clip to page but then anything outside the page is invisible, just the on page part remains. how bout we can turn ithis function off and on easily. tthat would be great.
