CorelDRAW Ideas Portal
Als Architekt benötige ich auf meinem Mac sehr häufig ein Werkzeug um PDF Pläne aus verschiedentsten Quellen zu verarbeiten/importieren. Leider meldet CorelDRAW sehr häufig "Datei beschädigt". Wenn grosse Dateien geöffnet werden, ist der Vorteil von CorelDRAW, dass komplexe Gruppen sehr schnell bearbeitet werden können. Oft sind leider Textobjekte unbrauchbar. Inkscape hingegen hat bisher alle pdf Dateien geöffnet, die Verarbeitung der Gruppen und der Bildsachirmaufbau ist jedoch sehr langsam. Es speichert in SVG. Ich bin nicht zufrieden mit dem Umgang mit Textobjekten. Fazit: Ich wünsche mir ein zuverlässigeres CorelDRAW welches alle PDF mit Textobjekten verarbeiten und wieder ausgeben kann.
As an architect, I very often need a tool on my Mac to process/import PDF plans from a wide variety of sources. Unfortunately, CorelDRAW reports "file corrupted" very frequently. When large files are opened, the advantage of CorelDRAW is that complex groups can be edited very quickly. Unfortunately, text objects are often unusable. Inkscape, on the other hand, has so far opened all pdf files, but processing the groups and displaying the screen is very slow. It saves in SVG. I'm not happy with the way text objects are handled. Conclusion: I would like a more reliable CorelDRAW that can process and output all PDFs with text objects.

With the new September 2023 Subscriber Update the PDF import capabilities have been significantly improved, addressing a number of customer-reported problems.
The update can be downloaded from the Patches & Updates page.
Note that CorelDRAW Graphics Suite subscription product and CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023 (one-time purchase) are listed with two separate entries for their updates. The enhanced and improved PDF import capabilities are available to users of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite Subscription as well as those purchasing CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023 for perpetual use.

Mit dem September 2023 Update werden verschiedene Kompatibilitätsprobleme beim Öffnen und Importieren von PDFs in CorelDRAW behoben, die zuvor von Kunden gemeldet wurden.

Die PDF-Importverbesserungen sind im aktuellen September 2023 Update für die Abo-Version als auch in Update 2 für die Kaufversion von CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 2023 enthalten.
There have been real improvements regarding pdf imports. But Corel is still my worst application for pdfs.
So the status "shipped" is not appropriate imho.
