Corel "Light"

I am an engraver, with most of my work being "custom". As such. I only need a very few of all the features Corel offers. The program also runs very slowly, and often freezes, crashes or stalls. I can't help but feel that a a "lighter" version of Corel which would allow me to create shapes, create artwork and then run my engraver would be a great benefit. I simply don't need everything Corel can offer in its present form.
