Expand merging and barcoding capabilities

I prefer using CorelDraw over Adobe Illustrator because it provides both the artistic and functional tools my work requires. I not only design but have to output jobs to various media. Some jobs require several different barcodes with serialization set multiple up on different sized materials. Another job requires excel information and pdf images merged back into Corel in differing quantities and page set ups which I then sublimate. Right now I use a macro - VariablesTools2 - to perform this. But will soon have to upgrade since this macro works with 2018. It would be great if CorelDraw could provide more expansive merging capabilities. Also, besides 3 of 9 barcodes I need to use several other barcodes in which i utilize VariablesTools, Excel, Notepad, merged into CorelDraw. Would like something simpler and more up-to-date within CorelDraw itself. Corel Draw has limited barcode choices.
