Drafting scale lockable to pages

The primary error I show in my plans is that when laying out sign designs I use different scales for details or other signs on each page in a multi-page document. When I do that I have to break apart the scale dimension lines or else the dimensions change on all the pages in the document showing dimensions that are incorrect on plans draw at other scales. It would great if I could set the scale on each page independent of the other pages. It would also be handy to display the scale in the work space somewhere (maybe on the bottom next to the document color palette) so you don't have to go looking for the scale to check if it's correct.
