extrusion using multiple views

I would love to see the extrude effect be modified to allow a 3D object to be created from multiple 2d Drawings/Shapes. Using Multiple views of an object to automatically create a manipulatable 3d object to add as an element to your designs and the ability to adjust it as a different viewing angle to make creating complex animations ease. As well as to make them editable objects when transferred for use in Corel CAD Software to make the creation of demonstration images from different viewpoints for a product or design and allow creative conceptual designers the ability to create editable CAD designs files to jumpstart the design process from concept to reality.
