Enable Color Selection from Palette for Painterly Brush Strokes

Currently, when using the Painterly Brush tool, the default drawing color is monochrome. This limitation makes it difficult to start drawing with a chosen color directly from the palette. For illustration purposes, it would be much more intuitive and efficient to allow users to select a desired color before applying brush strokes.

Additionally, the tool lacks the ability to seamlessly continue drawing with the same brush settings, which disrupts the workflow for creating illustrations. These improvements—pre-selecting colors and enabling continuous brush strokes—would greatly enhance the usability of the Painterly Brush tool and make it more suitable for artistic and design tasks.

Moreover, Corel Painter, which allows drawing while rotating the canvas, remains unparalleled for certain artistic workflows. The Painterly Brush tool is not a complete substitute for Painter in this regard. Therefore, it would be ideal to include Painter as an additional tool or ensure its development continues alongside CorelDRAW, preserving its unique capabilities.
