It would be highly beneficial if the master layer settings in CorelDRAW included a feature for placing headers and footers, similar to those in Word. This would make it much easier to add details like dates and page numbers to each page.
From a design perspective, having an object feature that dynamically interacts with each page would also be very useful. For example, a functionality to automatically number pages, skip numbering for specific pages such as the cover or table of contents, or start page numbering from a custom number would greatly enhance flexibility. Additionally, the ability to hide the header or footer on selected pages would be a welcome addition.
Hi Andrew Baker.
Thanks for the response.
It was incredibly difficult to use, but I was able to assign page numbers with the master page.
If it's there as a feature, it would be a shame to make the UI more user-friendly.
You can already hide master pages on which ever page you desire, such as the cover page or table of contents.
In objects docker, go to the page where you want the master page hidden, click on 'options' cog icon, select 'show master layers on pages', then make the master layer hidden and not printing icon, for that page.
Also, you can have as many master page layers as you wish, visible on which ever pages you wish.
